Kate Crawford

Kate Crawford is a leading scholar of the social and political implications of AI who serves as the Inaugural Visiting Chair of AI and Justice at the Ecole Normale Superieure. Author of “Atlas of AI” – an award-winning book on global networks underpinning AI technologies that harbour damage to the environment, inequality and undemocratic governance, Kate is a strong voice on AI ethics. Apart from being an AI expert, Kate is the Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft as well as a Research Professor at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.
