Dr Aarti Anhal is a resilience, leadership and performance specialist who helps organisations thrive during adversity, transformation and rapid change. With a career spanning global policy, finance and high-growth consultancy, she brings a uniquely interdisciplinary perspective to artificial intelligence, focusing on how people and systems adapt together. As an EMCC-accredited coach and an accredited trainer for the Institute of Risk Management, Dr Aarti delivers programmes on risk leadership and resilience culture. Her client portfolio includes organisations such as SSE plc, British Airways, London School of Economics and Political Science and PA Media. Most recently, she delivered a keynote for the 2026 Swedish Chamber of Commerce UK People and Talent Forum hosted by Hult International Business School.
Dr Aarti holds an LLB Maîtrise in English and French Law and an MA in International Peace and Security from King’s College London, alongside a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London. She began her career at Goldman Sachs International as an Executive Assistant before moving into policy as a consultant at the European Commission. She later joined RAND Europe as an Associate Analyst, developing expertise in international security and strategic risk. Building on this foundation, she became Director of Future Operations at Crisi Solutions, where she deepened her focus on crisis management and organisational resilience. She then joined 4C Strategies, progressing to Partner and UKI Chief Operating Officer and later UKI Chief Sales Officer, where she established and scaled the firm’s UK presence and built high-performing teams in complex environments. In 2017, she founded Before Nine, a consultancy dedicated to leadership, resilience and performance, advising FTSE 250 companies, government agencies and critical national infrastructure.
Dr Aarti Anhal’s thought leadership has been widely recognised across leading publications and industry platforms, reinforcing her authority as an AI speaker focused on human performance and resilience. She has been featured in HR Magazine discussing the UK’s motivation crisis, and in Management Today exploring proximity bias and its impact on careers in evolving workplaces. Her expertise in crisis and organisational resilience has also been highlighted by the Business Continuity Institute and in Continuity and Resilience Magazine, where she contributed an in-depth feature on sustaining resilience under pressure. Alongside this, she has shared her insights through podcasts and interviews, including Disaster Empire Podcast, Moving Dialogues and ResiliencePod, where she explores themes such as preparing for uncertainty and building resilience from within.
