Thomas began his career with a degree in mechanical engineering from Pratt Engineering before moving into the technology and telecommunications sectors. Early leadership roles included serving as Vice President of Marketing at Vocaltec Communications, where he gained extensive experience in digital communication technologies. He later founded two successful businesses, Nuclei Networks, a provider of business internet telephone services, and WiHood AS, which specialised in local PC support services. These entrepreneurial ventures established his reputation as an innovator capable of identifying emerging trends and turning them into scalable commercial opportunities. Thomas went on to hold senior innovation positions including Nordic Director of Innovation at IBM, Director of Innovation for Skatteetaten, Nordic CTO and Innovation Officer at Cognizant, and CEO of Too Easy.
