Valerie Won Lee is a leadership futurist, global impact strategist and artificial intelligence keynote speaker who helps organisations make stronger decisions when technology, stakeholders and complexity collide. As the Creator of the AI-Augmented Collective Intelligence Labs, the Decision Shapers Framework and the Social-Impact-Global, or SIG, Framework, she combines human judgement, diverse perspectives, systems thinking and AI to improve how leadership teams approach uncertainty. Valerie’s work challenges organisations to look beyond the speed and efficiency offered by AI, focusing instead on how technology can support responsible judgement, reduce blind spots and strengthen collective decision-making. Through her keynotes, executive labs and advisory work, she gives leaders practical tools for building innovative, collaborative and resilient organisations in an AI-driven world.

With more than 25 years of international experience, Valerie has worked across technology, business, humanitarian initiatives, education, communication and cross-cultural strategy. She currently serves as a Global Leader for APAC and South Korea at WomenTech Network, where she supports women working across technology and innovation throughout the region. Valerie is also a Member of the G100 Global Advisory Council, contributing her perspective on science, technology and global collaboration. Her earlier technology experience includes commercial and negotiation roles connected with SAP and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, while her career has also included work with LVMH, Issey Miyake and Alberta Ferretti. These varied environments have shaped her understanding of how culture, incentives and human relationships influence the success of technology adoption.

One of Valerie’s most significant former positions was Head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement for the United Nations Global Platform on Big Data, a role she undertook after being recruited by the UK Office for National Statistics. This experience placed her at the centre of international conversations surrounding data, collaboration and the use of emerging technology across complex institutions. Valerie also founded World Citizen Artists, a global initiative that brought together artists, students, businesses and humanitarian organisations from more than 100 countries. The organisation collaborated with the Bob Marley Foundation, the Gandhi Foundation and Belgravia Gallery, demonstrating Valerie’s ability to build international partnerships around shared objectives. She is also the author of ‘Decision Shapers’ and ‘Social-Impact-Global: Turning Obstacles Into Bridges’, which became a number one Amazon New Release in Nonprofit Marketing and Communications.

Valerie has delivered keynotes and masterclasses for audiences at South Summit Madrid, QS Higher Ed Summit APAC, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Bristol and Korea University Business School. She was named WomenTech Leader of the Year 2025 and recognised as one of New In Asia’s Top 10 Voices to Follow in South Korea. Her presentations explore AI-augmented decision-making, collective intelligence, stakeholder alignment, leadership under pressure and responsible technology adoption. Valerie also delivers interactive Decision Labs, placing participants inside realistic scenarios where they must combine AI insights with human experience and strategic judgement. Engaging, inclusive and highly practical, she helps audiences understand how AI can improve decision-making while reinforcing the accountability, empathy and critical thinking required from modern leaders.
