Felix Riley is a keynote speaker, facilitator and Moonshot Strategist helping organisations think brilliantly in the age of artificial intelligence. Felix is known for combining sharp humour with practical thinking tools, making complex change feel accessible and urgent. His work centres on how AI reshapes decision-making, value and responsibility, and why human judgement still matters when the stakes are real.

Felix began his career as a BBC comedy writer, contributing to flagship radio and television programmes including The Zoë Ball Radio 1 Breakfast Show, The News Quiz and The Rory Bremner Show. This early grounding trained him to spot assumptions quickly and communicate ideas that stick. He later moved into the City, joining Cantor Fitzgerald before founding ChoiceOdds, a financial trading firm he built and sold within fifteen months. Following its acquisition, Felix became Managing Director at MF Global, an NYSE-listed brokerage, and sat on the Global Executive, gaining first-hand experience of leadership under extreme commercial pressure.

After leaving finance, Felix spent time as a copper miner and negotiator in Zambia, negotiating directly with President Banda, tribal chiefs and international advisers. He returned to the UK to turn around a large IT company, before establishing himself as a business strategist more than a decade ago. Alongside this, Felix is a Penguin-published author of ‘The Set Up’ and ‘The Inside Job’, novels shaped by his experience of power, systems and risk. His work across sectors gives him a rare perspective on how technology, incentives and fear influence human behaviour.

Today, Felix is best known for his AI-focused keynote ‘Lawyers vs The Machine’, which explores what artificial intelligence will commoditise, where human value increases, and how organisations can stay ahead. He has delivered 100+ keynote talks across 8 countries to leaders in law, consulting, finance, healthcare and technology. Felix speaks clearly about AI without hype, focusing on judgement, creativity and trust. One law firm Managing Partner reported that weeks after Felix’s talk, teams were bringing forward ideas they would never have voiced before, because the invisible constraints had been removed.
