Alex Issakova began her career in Silicon Valley during the first wave of applied artificial intelligence, working inside high growth teams where innovation often moved faster than safeguards. Those early years shaped her understanding of how AI affects people, structures, and leadership behaviours. She saw the enormous value intelligent systems could create, yet also the cultural and ethical gaps that appear when adoption outpaces readiness. After contributing to two successful exits, she completed her MBA and shifted her focus towards helping organisations approach AI with greater responsibility and clarity. Her belief is simple: AI should enhance human capability, not undermine it. This principle now anchors all her advisory and speaking work.
Across more than fifteen years in AI driven environments, Alex has held senior roles that give her a rare operational view of how complex systems influence business decisions. At Liftoff, she served as Sales Chief of Staff, supporting the CRO of a 250 person division while leading major go to market transitions. Before that, as Head of Customer Success EMEA, she scaled a team from five to twenty and delivered close to one hundred workshops that made AI understandable for non-technical audiences. Earlier in her career, she managed high value strategic accounts at Fiksu, including secondments to Japan and Barcelona, where she worked on projects that tested the commercial limits of early mobile AI technologies. These experiences built her reputation as someone who can translate between technical teams, commercial leaders, and the boardroom with ease.
Alongside her industry work, Alex has developed a strong academic foundation in responsible and ethical AI. She completed an MBA at Warwick Business School with a focus on ethical AI leadership, where her dissertation examined how non-technical founders can build AI driven companies responsibly. She later studied the societal implications of AI at the London School of Economics, exploring questions of power, discrimination, and productivity. Her commentary on LinkedIn, where she writes for a community of more than 15,000 people, covers AI governance, digital sovereignty, and the cultural dynamics influencing intelligent systems. Her writing is known for being clear, human, and grounded in lived experience rather than theory.
Today, Alex operates a portfolio career across ethical AI advisory, fractional leadership, and keynote speaking. She guides CEOs, boards, and executive teams through responsible AI strategy, governance frameworks, and leadership readiness. In parallel, she founded The Career Creator, where she helps senior professionals build visible and resilient portfolio careers. As a speaker, Alex brings sharp insight and practical examples, such as walking audiences through how a single AI product decision can shape risk, trust, and culture. Her mission is to help leaders move through technological change with confidence and agency, ensuring AI serves both organisational goals and the people who rely on them.
