Allie Miller is a renowned Deep Tech Angel Advisor and Investor, highly sought after by Fortune 500 companies for consultations on AI, machine learning, Web3 and blockchain. Highly educated, Allie earned a BA in Cognitive Science, Women and Gender Studies from Dartmouth College. She went on to complete a double-major MBA from The Wharton School, founding the Penn initiative to study AI’s role in business and operations during her studies. Developing expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, research, machine learning, venture capital consulting and start-up consulting, Allie worked as a Strategist for multiple startups and Fortune 500 clients. She joined GoodLux Technology as Head of Product, working with the pioneering Boston-based health tech startup on wearable tech.
In 2016, Allie became the Lead Product Manager at IBM Watson, where she worked with multi-modal computing, AI systems, AI operations, conversational AI and computer vision. She also led a team of 30 engineers to build IBM’s first-ever trained multi-modal AI system, scoped new enterprise artificial intelligence solutions and created core artificial intelligence vision technology. Demonstrating great acumen in machine learning, in 2019, Allie was hired for the role of Global Head of Machine Learning Business Development, Startups and Venture Capital for Amazon Web Service.
A thought leader on AI, Allie authored eight guidebooks specifically targeting business audiences to educate them on the application of AI in the workplace. In acknowledgement of her pioneering work on AI, she received several accolades, including Chief in Tech’s Top 100 Women in Tech to Watch in 2022, Alconic’s 2019 AI Innovator of the Year and Award Magazine’s Top 50 Women in Tech.
