His technical foundation expanded as he took on roles such as Java Developer at Barclays, Data Migration Specialist at HMRC, and Data Scientist at the Department for Work and Pensions, where he built automated data processing and reporting frameworks from scratch. These early experiences equipped Chris with hands-on expertise across data science, big data, and enterprise architecture, which would later become central to his fintech leadership.

Chris’s career reached new heights when he joined Lloyds Banking Group as an Innovation Technologist in Digital Banking, where he led the development of over 100 innovative ideas per year, managed the ‘moonshot’ 10x portfolio, and contributed to the bank’s patent portfolio.
