Dan’s career began in the healthcare sector, where he quickly rose to become eNurse Screenings Manager at medibureau, pioneering digital solutions to enhance patient engagement. He built on this early success with increasingly senior roles, including IT Engineer at Hamptons International and Service Delivery Manager at GFM, where he honed his ability to lead teams and deliver enterprise-level IT services. His strategic leadership shone through in roles such as Head of Client Services at Cisilion and Managing Business Consultant at Nasstar, where he was recognised for his ability to align technology with business objectives. Dan joined Microsoft in 2017, rapidly becoming a key figure in the company’s global AI strategy, holding titles including Technology Strategist – Data & AI, Global Technology Strategist – Telco, and Global Artificial Intelligence Architect – Azure OpenAI.

Throughout his career, Dan has driven impact at scale. At Microsoft, he led the transformation of the Big 4’s Go-To-Market AI strategy, helped create a national mentoring network, and was honoured as a Microsoft Gold Club Winner and Advanced 365 Employee of the Year. His academic foundation includes a BSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Westminster and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business & Technology.
