Dan Fitzpatrick

Dan Fitzpatrick is one of the leading voices in artificial intelligence and education. Known to many as ‘The AI Educator’, he helps schools, universities and organisations rethink how they learn, lead and grow in an AI-powered world. A bestselling author, strategist and speaker, Dan combines academic insight with hands-on experience to make complex ideas about artificial intelligence both practical and human. Dan began his career as a teacher before moving into senior leadership roles in secondary education. His ability to see how technology could transform learning led him to become Director of Digital Strategy at Education Partnership North East, where he delivered large-scale digital transformation projects across multiple campuses. He later founded several ventures including Edufuturists, Scout Industries and Thirdbox, each designed to help organisations adapt to technological and cultural change. As Founder and Director of The AI Educator, he has trained more than 6,500 educators worldwide and worked with businesses such as Welsh Water and Cleanspec Cumbria to integrate AI into daily practice.

A respected thought leader, Dan is the author of the best-selling book ‘The AI Classroom: Teaching & Learning in the Artificial Intelligence Revolution’ and ‘Infinite Education: The 4 Step Strategy for Leading Change in an Age of AI’. He holds an MA from Durham University, a PGCE from UCL, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Design Thinking and Innovation in collaboration with MIT, a combination that reflects both his academic rigour and creative approach to problem-solving.
