Eileen Vidrine

Eileen Vidrine is a nationally recognised authority on artificial intelligence, data strategy and digital transformation, with more than 35 years of experience driving innovation across the defence, intelligence, air and space sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Vidrine Vantage, she advises government agencies and commercial organisations on harnessing the power of data and AI to improve decision-making, strengthen operational performance and deliver meaningful organisational change. Renowned for translating complex technological concepts into practical strategies, Eileen is hired as an AI speaker for her unrivalled expertise, engaging delivery and ability to inspire leaders navigating the future of artificial intelligence.

Eileen began her career as a Transportation and Acquisition Officer in the US Army before moving into defence intelligence, where she held a series of increasingly senior leadership positions. Following educational leadership roles across Northern Virginia and Washington DC, she became Director of the Centre of Educational Technologies at the National Defence Intelligence College. She later joined the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, serving as Senior Strategist before progressing through roles including Enterprise Learning Technologies Programme Manager, Chief of Staff and Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Human Capital. Eileen subsequently became the DoD IC Enterprise Architect for the United States Department of Defence before returning as Chief of Staff for the Human Capital Management Office. Her expertise culminated in her appointment as Chief Data Officer for the United States Department of the Air Force, where she led enterprise wide data and AI strategy across the US Air and Space Forces. She later expanded her influence as Senior Strategic Advisor for Data to the Federal CIO before founding Vidrine Vantage.

Alongside her executive career, Eileen has served on numerous advisory boards, supporting organisations including FedLearn, Concept Plus, the Mark Cuban Foundation and Planetary Systems AI. She currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for AI Squared, an Executive Coach at Carnegie Mellon University and a member of the inaugural Advisory Board for the National Artificial Intelligence Association. Her contributions have been recognised with prestigious honours including AIM AI 100 Visionary Leader, CDO Magazine’s Executive of the Year and DataIQ’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She has also shared her expertise through interviews and thought leadership featured by Defence Scoop and GovCIO Media and Research.
