Little A.I. and Peety

Elizabeth Adams is dedicated to administering responsible AI across Fortune 500 companies and government organisations. Chief AI Ethics Advisor at Paravision, she spearheads the tech inclusion initiatives for the organisation. As CEO of EMA Advisory Services Elizabeth’s research on responsible AI governance has led to new industry norms for inclusivity to be set. Her research is based on case studies, concepts and policies that enable her to create meaningful change, including the establishment of AI Ethics boards and new industry standards for moral AI practices. In 2021, Elizabeth published “Little A.I. & Peety” – a children’s book that addresses the importance of safe use of technology.

Elizabeth has received numerous certifications from institutions such as Cornell University, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and The Johns Hopkins University. Elizabeth has held numerous pertinent positions throughout her career including Senior Project Consultant at Princeton Information, Senior Director of the Department of Defence at Sotera Defence Solutions and Performance Manager at Delta Global Services. Elizabeth is also dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion practices across the technology sector and has been Co-Chair of the Black Employee Network at Thomson Reuters and Member of the Racial Equity Community Advisory Committee for the City of Minneapolis. Additionally, she served as the Stanford University Practitioner Fellow for Race & Technology.

Included in Forbes’ 15 AI Ethics Leaders Showing the World the Way of the Future list in 2021, Elizabeth’s contributions to the dissemination of responsible AI are exemplary. In 2020, she was a key constituent of roundtables on AI for the Office of the Under-Secretary General at the United Nations. Today, Elizabeth is a Network Affiliate for the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, a role through which she advances AI research, education and practice. She has also been a Chief Culture & Ethics Officer for Women in AI and has been regarded as a LinkedIn Top Voice, offering courses on leading responsible AI in organisations.

Creator of the Employee Stakeholder Participation framework, Elizabeth is one of the most prolific figures in AI education and has empowered over 7000 leaders through her training, presentations, courses and lectures.
