Fadi Abi-Nader is a globally recognised commercial transformation leader who helps organisations harness data, automation and artificial intelligence to drive sustainable growth. With more than 25 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods sector, including 22 years with Mars, he is widely respected for bridging advanced technology with real-world business leadership at scale. Fadi is hired as a speaker for his expertise in transforming sales organisations, creating digitally enabled and human-led commercial ecosystems, and helping leaders navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by AI-driven change.

Fadi’s career at Mars spans some of the company’s most significant growth and transformation initiatives. As Regional General Manager for Egypt and the Levant, he held full profit and loss accountability across 10 markets and led an organisation of more than 1,000 people through periods of political instability, economic disruption and currency devaluation. Despite these challenges, he quadrupled the size of the business while building resilient teams and maintaining high levels of engagement. He later played a key role in establishing the strategy and operating model for Mars’ Global Emerging Markets organisation, laying the foundations for growth across a diverse portfolio of markets.

Building on this success, Fadi was appointed Regional Vice President for Growth and Commercial, leading a $3 billion business across more than 140 markets spanning six continents. In this role, he drove significant growth through the integration of sales, marketing and digital transformation strategies, helping modernise commercial operations through the adoption of data, automation and AI. Beyond his corporate leadership responsibilities, he has contributed to executive education initiatives including the Growth Leader Accelerator programme in partnership with Accenture and has shared his expertise with business leaders and students through engagements at the American University in Cairo. His insights have also been featured in publications including Performance Marketing World, International Confectionery and Confectionery News, as well as on the Evolve Voices podcast.

Fadi is hired as a speaker because he combines board-level leadership experience with frontline commercial expertise and a truly global perspective shaped by work across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Rather than focusing solely on technology, he helps organisations understand how to combine AI, automation and data with human judgement, relationships and leadership. His grounded, authentic style and real-world transformation stories make him a valuable speaker for senior leaders seeking to accelerate growth, lead change and build future-ready organisations.

Farida, Economist, Monetary Policy Sector, The Central Bank of Egypt

“Distribution in emerging markets has historically been constrained by cost structures rather than demand. During a recent discussion, Fadi Abi-Nader described how traditional retail expansion often fails to scale efficiently across fragmented or lower-density regions. The economics of physical coverage do not justify the investment required to reach all potential consumers. “For big companies to cover all these stores, the cost doesn’t justify the return.” On-demand delivery introduces a different model. Instead of expanding physical presence, companies can centralize inventory and rely on high-speed delivery networks to reach consumers across both urban and rural areas. In some markets, this infrastructure is already operating at a level of efficiency that significantly alters access. “In India you can get products in seven to eight minutes.” The consequence is a shift in how availability is defined. Products that were previously inaccessible due to distribution limitations can now reach consumers without requiring local retail presence. The barrier moves from physical infrastructure to network capability.”
