Konstantinos Komaitis is a leading expert in Internet governance, digital policy and the future of a global, open Internet. A seasoned policy strategist, author and public speaker, Konstantinos is widely recognised for his work shaping the frameworks that underpin how the Internet operates across borders. As a non-resident fellow at the Lisbon Council and a senior researcher with the Atlantic Council’s Democracy and Tech initiative, he provides critical insight into the intersection of technology, geopolitics and regulation, making him a highly sought-after speaker on AI, digital policy and Internet governance.

Konstantinos began his career in academia, serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, where he specialised in Internet governance, intellectual property, trade and cybersecurity. During this time, he built a strong reputation for his research and teaching, combining legal, technical and policy perspectives. In addition, he serves on the Board of IP Justice and co hosts the Internet of Humans podcast, further demonstrating his influence across policy, academia and public discourse.
