Navrina Singh

Navrina Singh is an internationally renowned expert on generative AI, AI governance and responsible AI. The founder and CEO of Credo AI, her pioneering governance SaaS platform encourages enterprises to deliver responsible AI. With such distinguished expertise in ethical and responsible AI, she is a Member of the US Department of Commerce National AI Advisory Committee, advising the National AI Initiative Office and the President. As a thought leader in AI, she is highly sought after to speak at corporate engagements, captivating audiences with her profound expertise in ethical and responsible AI.

Highly educated, Navrina holds a BS in Electronics and Telecommunication from COEP Technological University, an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She joined Qualcomm in 2004 as a Senior R&D Engineer, progressing within the company over 12 years to become Senior Business Development Manager, Senior Product Manager and Director of Product Management/ Head of Qualcomm Innovation. She then served as an Industry Advisory Board Member at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo before becoming an Executive Board Member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In 2016 she co-founded MERTA.AI, an innovative marketplace for ethical and responsible AI tools. During the same year, she joined Microsoft as Director of Product Management (Microsoft Cloud & AI), working on an original SaaS service to build virtual agents. Recognised as an authority in AI, she became a Member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics before being appointed a Young Global Leader. As well as running Credo AI, Navrina is an AI Expert in AI Risk & Accountability at the OECD.AI.

A world-leading expert in ethical and responsible AI, Navrina served as an Executive Board Member of the Mozilla Foundation. She also appeared on the AI We Trust? podcast and has been featured in prominent publications such as Forbes and WSJ.
