Having today forged a successful career analysing data, Orlando’s talent became evident when he began working as a Statistician in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Leicester in 1996. Here, he used cutting-edge simulation techniques that allowed him to predict the demand for health services, developing his analytical and inquisitive mindset. Since then, Orlando has also worked as a Capacity Analyst for the BBC, the Head of Analytics for WPP, the Head of Insight Analysis and Head of Digital Solutions for dunnhumby and an Advisory Board Member of the European Data Science Academy.
