Roney Lima do Nascimento is a leading expert in artificial intelligence, mathematics, and educational innovation, recognised for his ability to make advanced AI concepts accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences. Combining more than two decades of experience teaching mathematics with over 16 years in Python development, Roney has become a respected voice on AI literacy, machine learning, and responsible technology adoption. As a teacher, developer, consultant and speaker, he helps organisations build trust frameworks for AI implementation while empowering educators and business leaders to confidently embrace emerging technologies. Currently serving as an IB Diploma Programme Mathematics Teacher and AI Solutions Developer at Colegio São Luis in São Paulo, he is widely hired to explain the real-world impact of AI in education and business.

Beginning his career as a mathematics educator, Roney taught students across middle school, high school, pre-university and undergraduate settings, developing a reputation for translating complex mathematical theories into engaging and understandable learning experiences. His academic journey led to a CAPES Research Fellowship in collaboration with the University of Oxford, where he explored innovative methods of teaching probability through games. He completed the Applied Generative AI Specialisation from Johns Hopkins University, a 100-hour advanced programme, alongside further AI studies with MIT Professional Education, UPenn Wharton, Vanderbilt and Alura. He also holds an MBA in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Big Data for Business from IBMec, completed between 2024 and 2025, and is recognised as both a Google Generative AI Leader and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert 2026.
